Exfoliation
Exfoliation of the skin is necessary atleast once a week. But you should not exceed as it may cause irritation and may damage the skin. It makes the skin to create more collagen. Collagen binds tissue which holds the skin. Vitamin C is an important antioxidant and it is the main factor is anti-ageing and anti-wrinkles. It also protects the skin from sun ultraviolet rays.
There are many tips to exfoliate the skin. All these techniques can be done at home. The ingredients for these home made treatments will be found in the kitchen.
Applying a mixture of lime juice and sugar on your neck and face is a good exfoliate. The roughness of the ingredients will remove the dead cell when you remove the mixture from face. A paste of sugar, salt, and lime juice should be Applied on your skin and left for half an hour. It should then be rinsed off for clean and smooth skin. Pineapple is rich in vitamins. It encourages healthy skin, eyes, nails, and hair. Applying pineapple juice on face for around ten minutes and then wash it with cold water is good for the skin.
However this method should not be done if it causes irritation to the skin. Adding about ¾ cups of lime juice to the bathing water acts as an exfoliate. A mix of one cup raw apple cider vinegar to the bath water is also a home made recipe to exfoliate the skin. This helps in exfoliation of the skin. A mixture of one teaspoon of salt, two teaspoon of milk, and two teaspoon of semolina on your face, neck, hand and feet is a good exfoliate. Wash all the parts with warm water and dry each part. This mixture when applied to the skin it will soften the skin.
Apply a combination of half cup of buttermilk and one-fourth corn meal on face and neck and then wash it off. A Mix of one tablespoon buttermilk and three-fourth tablespoon sugar is used for the skin. The mixture is kept for 10 minutes. Apply this mixture for 15 minutes on your face. Then wash it off with lukewarm water. The sugar grains remove the dead cell from the skin.
Exfoliation is essential for the skin as it removes all the dead cells from the skin. It makes the skin smooth and glowing. It also removes grime from the skin.
